Christa Miller is Jackson High School's Teacher of the Year! She was born and raised in New Jersey, lived in New York for 16 years, and moved to Georgia in 1996. She has taught at JHS for 18 years. Mrs. Miller teaches 9-12 Gifted, 10th Literature, American Literature, American Literature Honors and A.P. Literature. She is married and has one son, Reece Miller. A few of her accomplishments include Butts County STAR Teacher six times, 2000 JHS Teacher of the Year, 2014 JHS Teacher of the Year, National Endowment in Humanities Award Recipient, 2009 Goldman Award for Excellence in Holocaust Education and the first teacher in Butts County to receive National Board Certification 2002-2012. She is an esteemed member of JHS and she will continue to be one of the best educators in the Butts County School System! Congratulations, Mrs. Miller!
